My First Gratitude List | MINDFULNESS

Hello everyone reading my blog! Today I thought I’d share the things I am the most grateful for. We always take thing for granted and we dont notice then until there gone or taking away from us.If you are ever feeling depressed or down or feeling alone writing lists like this can open your eyes to what you have and that you should appreciate it more.

Body and Mind

The first one is probably the most important to me. I am grateful for my body and mind!!! My body is always there for me helping me walk places and helping me eat and so much more. My mind is helping me think, make important decisions in my life. I am grateful that I am even able to make decisions in my life about my life and my opportunities!!

Friends and Family

Your friends and family are the most important people in your life because without them where would you be they have taught us so much as we grew up and I am so grateful for them.

Freedom and Opportunity

We have so much freedom and opportunities in our day and age that our parent or grandparents would have never dreamed of. We are able to talk to far distance family and friends that we can talk to when ever we want over the phone, face-time or Skype. Our ancestors would have to send a letter thought the post and have to wait a few weeks to hear a reply.

Even today we have the freedom to travel where we want where as some countries people are so lucky!

Our Emotions

Our emotions are what make us us. They are what make us feel different emotions like happy, sad, anger and what make us laugh. I read somewhere that you can feel happy without feeling sad. We cherish the good and happy moments when we’ve have sad times.

Adventures

Going on adventures is probably my most favorite thing to do! I go away on holidays at least twice a year and I explore every country I go to. I love experiencing the different cultures, atmosphere and meeting new people! If I’m being honest I some times take travelling for granted and I’m only realizing lately how lucky I am.

Delicious Food

Food food food!!!

I know we all love food, like come on who doesn’t! Food is something I would take for granted because it’s so accessible. Food is every where we turn, its advertised everywhere. I know years ago families used to thank God for their meal before they ate it. I wonder why people stopped! Anyways I am so thankful for food because it makes me happy lol!

Music

I loveeeee music!! Music has such a big impact on my life, it can change my moods with one song! I am grateful for the people who make music it can be that easy writing a song and than music to go with it!

I am trying to appreciate everything I have in my life lately. It help boost my mood in a way. I am learning more about mindfulness and energy. Energy specifically I am trying to put positive energy into the universe so I can receive more positivity.

  10. I think emotions and music come hand in hand; music never fails to lift my heart! My gratitude list looks very much like yours; I am always grateful for my friends, my family, life, love, and definitely adventure. Adventure is one of my favorite things in life, but I savor opportunities.
